I was reading back over your old entries. In 2015 the output from cannonsville was raised to 1500 cfs for the majority of the summer so they could fix the dam.
Based on your reports that summer the bugs respond very well to the higher colder water including sulphurs extending down the BR.
Maybe while we wait for the water to recede over the next few days we could hypothesize about how the bugs, fish, river system and fishermen will respond to this year’s water release plan. I’d like to hear your thoughts on how you anticipate the summer to go.
Seems to me this year is setting up very similarly to 2015 so fishing should be good. The current 3 year old class of fish seems to be doing really well based on my experience this spring. Maybe all the high water and lack of concentrated pressure will translate into a biblical 4 year old class next year- and healthy large populations of the younger classes?
