Against All Odds – So-Cal Steelhead
Patagonia ambassador Mikey Wier put together a movie for Cal Trout on the condition and historical data behind steelhead in southern California. Yes, steelhead were once found as far south as Mexico and are still in a few streams and rivers in this part of the U.S. though most are unaware. Even with human population growth, industry development and all that comes with it, these fish continue to return to the region… against all the odds. Awareness is growing exponentially and as we begin to put all these pieces of the steelhead puzzle together, we are going to save these fish, all up and down the coast of North America, including Southern California.
