Illiamna Salmon Program
This video showcases Iliamna Lake and briefly shows some of the 2013 research performed by Alaska Salmon Program’s Iliamna Lake research station, one of four main facilities in Southwest Alaska. The program was established by the University of Washington in the 1940s. The majority of its research is focused on ecology and fisheries management relating primarily to salmon and the environment in Bristol Bay, Alaska. More at Alaska Salmon Program.
