“Anglers in Great Britain, Norway and other European countries look forward to fall runs of what they call sea trout, a large form of brown trout that spends its growing years in the ocean. Sea trout are to stream-resident browns as steelhead are to stream-resident rainbow trout. Both the sea trout and steelhead are races or strains of species that evolved in fresh water.
